Documents from the Pima County Sheriff's Department detailing terror suspect Mahin Khan's incidents at Catalina Foothills High School from 2013 have been released.

Khan was arrested last week for planning to commit acts of terrorism in Pima and Maricopa Counties.

Former classmates of Mahin Khan have come forward all with similar accounts of the terror suspect's radical political views.

"I mean it was just, wow. I went to school with a terrorist."

This is the third Catalina Foothills student KGUN has spoken to this week.

"At one point we were reading news articles in front of the class for current events and he said something along the lines of, the Jews did 9/11."

The students met khan in an English class at the Foothills High School back in 2013.

Each of them reporting Khan to administration.

The reports coming in on just the second day of school.

One student says when he tried to complain to administration, he was punished.

"What they basically said is that I was lying and trying to profile him because of his race and if I brought it up again I would get three lunch detentions and i ended up getting three lunch detentions for this."

Khan's parents removed him from the school the next week.

A report from the Pima County Sherrif's Department says Khan was previously pulled out of another school for similar behavior issues.

According to the documents, a deputy from PCSD was requested to make telephone contact with the principal of Catalina Foothills High, who was identified as Angela Chomokos on August 16th, 2013.

Chomokos told the deputy that the student was displaying disruptive behavior. Chomokos said that the student was not in school at the time.

Several students had complained to Chomokos about Khan, who they said made several racial slurs against various ethnic groups.

From Chomokos' interviews with complaining students, they stated that Khan had made statements saying he did not like Jewish people, Hispanic people and African American people.

Chomokos told the deputy that several of these complaints were filed on August 13 and August 14. School started on August 15.

Chomokos called Khan into her office and she had a discussion with him about his behavior.

Khan's mother was also contacted by Chomokos in regard to the behavior that was observed. Chomokos learned Khan was having these types of problems in other schools.

Khan had previously attended Dolland Elementary School and BASIS Middle School in Chandler, Ariz.

Chomokos told the deputy she had gotten the impression that Khan was disruptive at home and would be sent to his aunt's house to try to go to school in Chandler. She had also gotten the impression that Khan made racial slurs when he knew the person he was talking with was of a particular ethnicity.

Principal Chomokos stated to the deputy that after she finished a conversation with Khan and his mother, she was approached by a teacher who said that several students in the class stated that Khan was making statements against the military and possibly the president. It was at that time that she decided to contact PCSD.

Chomokos stated to the deputy that no specific threats were made toward the president or the military but Khan had said, "Bin Laden was innocent. He only killed 7,000 people." Khan also said he hoped the Taliban wins and kills the American military.

Khan made other statements saying he hoped the Navy Seals who killed Bin Laden also die and that he would not be sad if the president died.

The deputy learned from his conversation with Chomokos that no specific threat was made by Khan to anybody at the school or to the school itself.

The deputy also confirmed with Chomokos that Khan did not have any weapons in his home per Khan's mother. The documents show that on at least one other occasion Khan was removed from a school because he makes those types of statements.

Documents show the other statements made by Khan was that he wanted to go downtown and burn an American flat.

Chomokos told the deputy that she believed Khan was possibly removed from school because his mother had problems with this before and she had removed him from school because of this type of problem. He also told the deputy that he was not suspended and he had been at home since she spoke with Khan's mother in regards to his statements.

The deputy also confirmed with Chomokos that no one was specifically threatened nor did he threaten to hurt anyone.

On September 6th, 2013 another deputy from PCSD talked to Chomokos and she stated that Khan was no longer enrolled at Catalina Foothills High School. She told the deputy that on the day of the report, Khan's parents came and withdrew him from the school and enrolled him online at home through Primavera.

The now 18-year-old Tucsonan faces three felony charges. He is being charged with terrorism, conspiracy to commit terrorism and conspiracy to commit misconduct involving weapons.
