As America remembers the 15th anniversary of September 11, there are also those who don't remember that day in history.
Gena McGgill, a history teacher at Canyon Del Oro High School uses news clips to show the kids what happened on that fateful day.
McGill says, "It's interesting to talk to kids who is is history to them. That's really exciting to be able to teach something that I actually was there and saw it. It wasn't a good thing to see, but I can show my feelings about that moment in time."
McGill's lesson plans for the high schoolers also include how America and the world have changed since September 11 and specifically how US foreign policy is different today.
