Tax season is just around the corner and more than one million Americans are missing out on saving on their taxes.

The Internal Revenue Service says taxpayers with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities can save on their taxes with the Earned Income Tax Credit.

It's a tax credit for workers who earn less than $53,000 a year and who meet other requirements.

If you qualify and claim the credit you could pay fewer taxes, pay no tax at all, or even get a refund.

The IRS says you could earn anywhere from $2 up to more than $6,000 from the tax credit.
