The man accused of shooting and killing University of Arizona Professor Thomas Meixner is facing a judge today, March 5, for a pre-trial conference.
Shortly after Meixner was killed in October of 2022 police arrested former grad student Murad Dervish.
Dervish faces first-degree murder and other felony charges.
His trial is scheduled to start in May.
