Arizona health care and law enforcement organizations are working together to study concussions caused by domestic violence.
The Maricopa County Attorney's Office says the study will help victims understand how to care for their injuries and develop best-practices for police to prosecute abusers.
The team is led by the Mayo Clinic, Mesa Police Department, and the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix.
