More than 2,300 students from 60 different schools are expected to attend the 5th Annual Southern Arizona Construction Career Days this week.
The annual event is happening November 7 and 8 at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds. Participating students will explore careers in the construction industry with hands-on activities like operating backhoes, mini-excavators, people lifts, and more.
Right now there are a lot of jobs in the construction industry. Nationally, about 200,000 new positions will be available in the next 10 years.
