A Sierra Vista resident was sentenced to 25 years in prison for child crimes Monday.
According to a press release from the FBI, 34-year-old Ian Joseph Ritzer used the Internet to meet young girls on social media and other chat room websites. He then communicated with them via text and email.
Ritzer specifically manipulated two young girls by pretending to be a child, by engaging in a relationship with them and demanding to be sent sexually explicit photos. If the girls refused, he threatened to post the images and even commit suicide.
The FBI says that Ritzer is expected to of had over 100 victims.
