TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - An event called Shred It aims to stop identity theft and today many gathered to securely shred their documents.
This was a free event at the Woods Memorial Branch library and people brought boxes of documents to be securely shredded on site.
KGUN9's Big Al attended the event and the Pima County will hold another Shred It event on Jan. 23 at Casas church on La Cholla blvd.
It starts at 8 a.m. and it will end once the trucks are full.
