Non-profit organization Linkages hosted their 10th annual "Building Bridges Awards" luncheon for Employer of the Year, Employment Specialist of the Year, and Employee of the Year.
We are proud to say that Scripps Media was nominated for Employer of the Year.
Scripps Media has been part of Linkages for several years.
The organization educates employers on the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities. Last year, almost 2,000 job-seekers found employment through Linkages partner agencies throughout Southern Arizona.
Human Resources Director John Torre presented one of the awards today.
