SCIFest offers STEM learning experiences for families

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Children’s Museum Tucson is offering a day of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) at the Family SCIFest Saturday.

The family-friendly event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Children’s Museum Tucson, 200 South Sixth Avenue. Admission is free.

Family SCIFest is a day for parents and kids to look at exhibits, enjoy hands-on experiments, and demonstrations all while exploring about STEM.

Children will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on demonstrations, experiments with robotics, learn about astronomy; biology, engineering, environmental sciences, mathematics and physics.
