Good Morning Tucson anchor Samantha Cortese shows you the cheapest ways to shop for school supplies.

Cortese used the supplies list handed out to parents of students at Robins K-8, 3939 N. Magnetite Lane.

There are 28 items on the list, including 10 composition notebooks, six folders, a two-inch binder, a 3-ring supply pouch, college-ruled, lined paper, pencils, a highlighter, a flash drive, index cards, colored pencils, a glue stick and scissors.

There is also a teacher wish list that includes copy paper, lined paper, pencils, tissues, disinfectant wipes, paper towels and dry erase markers.

At Walmart, the supplies were $36.88 and the teacher's wish list was $15.93, for a total of $52.81.

On Amazon, the cost of the supplies and wish list was #92.

Manufacturer's coupons and sales can give you additional savings.

Also, see if your school offers pre-packaged supplies.
