The Salvation Army is hosting a Memorial Day dinner for Tucson veterans at 5 p.m. Monday night.
This is the first Memorial Day dinner they will be hosting at the Hospitality House near Speedway and Main, but Corey Leith, with the Salvation Army, says they hope to make the dinner an annual event.
"They've already done so much for us, and we're just trying to pay back the favor," Leith said.
All veterans in Tucson are invited to the dinner.
Leith said the Salvation Army decided to do a dinner for veterans this year because they want the veteran community to know that the Salvation Army supports them.
