The Salvation Army says they are distributing Christmas Tickets differently this year.
Families are able to pick up a Christmas Ticket at any of the four Salvation Army locations instead of just the Hospitality House starting Nov. 1.
The Christmas Ticket program allows low-income families to receive new Christmas toys to give to their children. One ticket will cover an entire family with children ages 12 and under.
The Salvation Army hopes to help 1,500 families this year.
"The Christmas Ticket program is crucial for families who cannot provide Christmas gifts for their children, and we encourage people in the Tucson community to join our 'Fight for Good' by donating new toys to the program," said Captain David Oh, The Salvation Army Tucson area coordinator.
Christmas Tickets are limited and can be picked up at the following locations -
- Amphi Corps Community Center, 218 East Prince Road
- South Corps Community Center, 1625 South 3rd Avenue
- Temple/Korean Corps Community Center, 1001 North Richey Boulevard
- Hospitality House, 1002 North Main Avenue
