The Sahuarita Police Department has multiple job openings for police officers.
If you are interested in applying, you can apply on the Town of Sahuarita website. You must fill out a Town of Sahuarita application as well as an AZ POST application.
Candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be invited to take the Police Officer Physical Aptitude Test on June 9, 2018.
Candidates that pass the POPAT will then take a written test that will also be conducted on June 9, 2018.
Sahuarita PD is hiring the best of Arizona POST certified officers and those candidates that will need to attend a police academy.
The hourly pay range is from $22.00 to $31.90 an hour, which does not include multiple types of specialty pay or overtime.
Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on June 1, 2018.
