Saguaro National Park will be celebrating its birthday and the anniversary of a 100-year-old saguaro at its visitor center at its east branch.
The desert park is 83 years old on Tuesday. A saguaro that was planted 50 years ago is also now 100 years old, and the park wants to commemorate it.
Officials say Sunny the Saguaro, a mascot, and others will be at the park on Tuesday to celebrate.
Saguaro National Park is just outside of Tucson.
