Safe Kids Pima County and FedEx are joining forces to promote safe walking on International Walk to School Day.
The organizations will join students from Whitmore Elementary to teach them safe walking tips.
Safe Kids Pima County, FedEx, Tucson Police, Tucson Medical Center and the students will kick off the event at Ft. Lowell Park.
The students will then be escorted to school by Tucson Police.
