TUCSON, Ariz. — A family drove a 5-year-old boy to Rural Metro Fire Station in Sahuarita about a near-drowning incident on Saturday.
RMFS says the incident happened in McGee Ranch west of Sahuarita and the family drove to the fire station with the 5 year-old boy.
Officials say a group of kids were swimming in a pool when another individual noticed the 5-year-old not moving.
Two boys pulled him out. The boy became conscious and started breathing on his own.
A crew at the station was able to treat him and take him to a hospital in Tucson.
The boy's father said Saturday night he is in stable condition.
