TUCSON, Ariz. — A road improvement project will close part of Broadway Boulevard starting Sunday.
Broadway will be closed from Euclid Avenue to Santa Rita Avenue from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During the closure construction crews will remove two overhead sign structures.
Drivers traveling on eastbound or westbound Broadway will be rerouted to turn north on Euclid, east on 10th Street and south on Santa Rita to return to Broadway.
Once the road has reopened only one lane will be open in each direction with a center turn lane.
