Bicyclists gathered at Mercado San Agustin for a ride to Hollinger Elementary School.
That ride was all about making kids smarter and healthier.
Brian Lambert, Hollinger Principal says, "what we're trying to do is encourage our students to go out and read and then be healthy as well. This is a great opportunity for our community to come together. They've been collecting books over the last couple of months to provide at least one book to every student."
The books were packed into backpacks, trailer bikes and cargo bikes.
Upon their arrival at Hollinger, the cyclists were met by mariachis for the celebration.
