A celebration of Monsoon will commence on Historic 4th Avenue Saturday.
The Return of the Mermaids is an all day event ending with a parade at 8:00 p.m. starting at Haggerty Plaza 316 N 4th Avenue.
Activities include mermaid raffles, a mermaid Art Show, water safety, and live music.
Those who wish to participate in the parade must be in a mermaid themed costume or be holding the hand of a costumed child.
The parade will conclude at the Pirate Ship/Beach Downtown.
