A new report warns "superbugs" -- infections that are immune to antibiotics -- will kill 30-thousand Americans "per year" by 2050.
The "Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development" published the report yesterday.
It says superbugs could cost developed countries "three and a half" billion dollars per year.
The group says overuse of antibiotics is a factor and developing a test that can tell the difference of a "viral" infection from a "bacterial" one will be key.
