It's the last day to register for El Tour de Tucson, the largest bike ride in all of Arizona.

The 34th annual ride brings in cyclists from all over the world for the country's largest Perimeter Bicycling event.

The Founder of the Perimeter Bicycling Association of America says Pima County has helped make this year more enjoyable and safer for riders.

"For one, Silverbell is paved. And the county had done that so that's going to be great because we're really moving off the frontage road...so that's going to be a big improvement," Richard DeBernardis told KGUN9.

As of Thursday morning, 6200 outdoor riders have signed up. Event organizers are expecting to reach around 7000 outdoor and 3000 indoor riders by the end of the day.

Those interested in riding on Saturday must come to the Tucson Convention Center to register.

Registration is open until 9 p.m. Friday.
