The Hermitage Cat Shelter is kicking off their summer reading program with a feline-focused book signing.

On Saturday, May 5, the "Read to a Cat" program begins with a reading of Fenix: The Fearless Feline by the authors, followed by a signing opportunity.

The event is part of a new series at Hermitage that opens the shelter to kids who love reading to cats.

Parents can 'drop-in' anytime between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday to participate.

The shelter is located at 5278 E. 21st Street. Those interested can call (520) 571-7839 or visit their website for more information.
