Pueblo High School has a new leader -- following a grade-changing scandal -- uncovered by KGUN9.
The TUSD board voted Tuesday to replace former principal Auggie Romero with a familiar face in the school -- assistant principal Frank Rosthenhausler.
Mr. R -- as he's called -- will serve as interim principal -- likely for a full year.
Our investigation revealed Auggie Romero changed the grades of 6 graduating seniors without the teacher's consent -- a violation of state law. And district memos show he faced disciplinary action for incidents that put student safety at risk.
