A new program that aims to break the addiction cycle is launching on Monday.

It is a unique transitional housing program specifically designed for mothers recovering from substance use disorders, made possible by a partnership between Tucson Medical Center, CODAC Health, Recovery and Wellness, and the Connie Hillman Family Foundation.

Officials from TMC say in the program, children can live with their mothers in a safe and sober community, away from unhealthy influences.

Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild will be at the press conference in the TMC Women of Honor Courtyard Monday morning to help launch the program.
