A printing problem has delayed all Pima County property tax statements just days before they are due, KGUN9 has learned.

In a Facebook post, the Pima County Treasurer's Office said property tax statements should be mailed by Sept. 25.

Pima County Treasurer, Beth Ford says, "this printer has not been able to perform as expected according to the deadlines that we set."

Property taxes are due on Oct.1. Taxes do not become delinquent until Nov. 1.

Ford says, while the bills were sent late - the deadline will still be the same.

Property tax statements are usually mailed out the first week of Sept.

The late property taxes have also backed up revenue for the department, according to Ford. "We have missed 3 weeks in tax revenues that are needed in our jurisdictions."

The Pima County Treasurer's Office said you can download and print your tax statement, and make payments directly from the Treasurer's website
