TUCSON, Ariz. — A new poll finds most Arizonans agree about climate change, and its cause.
The firm OH Predictive Insights released polling results Thursday showing 62% of Arizonans believe climate change is happening, and that it's caused by human activity.
That numbered is mostly bolstered by 83% of Democrats and 75% of independents. Only 34% of Republicans in the state said they thought humans were causing climate change, and only 55% of Republicans agree that the climate is changing at all.
The poll -- which was conducted between Aug. 13 and Aug. 14 among 600 likely 2020 voters in Arizona -- found only a quarter of respondents believe human activity is not causing climate change.
