PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say unspecified police activity at a major freeway interchange in central Phoenix has closed portions of several freeways during the Wednesday morning commute.
The Arizona Department of Transportation says the activity at the "Mini-Stack" interchange has closed westbound Interstate 10, southbound State Route 51 and westbound Loop 202 and that there is no estimate when the highways will reopen.
The state Department of Public Safety and the Phoenix Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
