TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Not everyone will be ringing in the New Year on a high note. The Pima County Jail will see an increase in the number of domestic violence offenders brought in on New Year's Day.
A jail spokesperson tells KGUN9 last year law enforcementt agencies brought in 73 people. Of those, most were drunk and facing domestic violence or other assault charges.
In 2014, 108 people were brought in for similar charges.
