TUCSON, Ariz. — Students at Pima Community College are studying hard for their final exams before christmas break and to help students relax, and de-stress the west campus library is bringing in therapy dogs.
'Study Paws' are provided by the Humane Society of Southen Arizona and Pet Partners of Southern Arizona.
KGUN9 asked how therapy dogs help students.
Library Service Specialist Louis Migliazza said "One of the volunteers yesterday was saying that she had heard from a student that the student felt that she did better on her finals because she was able to pet a dog and relax."
Study Paws happens every fall and spring semester to help students even staff take a break from stressful schedules.
