Environmental regulators have issued a health watch Thursday for metro Phoenix because pollution levels are expected to approach the federal health standard.
The health watch for ozone and particulate matter prompted officials to issue restrictions on wood-burning.
People also are encouraged to use carpools or public transportation and avoid using leaf blowers, drive-thru lines and any activities that stir up dust.
