PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a 25-year-old Phoenix police officer has been killed in off-duty motorcycle accident.
Police say Officer Blake Newman died Monday night after his motorcycle hit a curb in Glendale and he lost control of it and crashed.
They say the accident occurred about 11 p.m. Newman was transported to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
