Pharmaceutical packaging recall

The pharmaceutical company "Sandoz and Novartis" wants patients to heed warnings about 12 recalled medications.

The company is recalling certain pills in blister card packages. There is nothing wrong with the medicines themselves, the problem is the packaging.

The packaging does not meet the U.S. standards for child resistance.

So far, one child has ingested medication from one of these packs.

For a full list of the medications affected by the recall visit the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission website.
