A man in his 60's is in the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of North La Cholla Boulevard and West Orange Grove Road, according to Deputy Cody Gress of the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Gress says deputies received a call about the incident at 6:24 p.m.
The man hit by the vehicle was taken to Banner University Medical Center as he sustained serious injuries to his face.
Gress says the driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
The roadway is now open.
Deputies are investigating the collision at this time.
