The Pima County Sheriff's Department is hosting 'Badges and Backpacks' on Saturday.
The event will take place at the Tucson Convention Center Exhibit Hall A on July 29 from 9 a.m. to Noon.
The annual event gives away backpacks with supplies to school-aged children K-12.
The backpacks are given away on a first come, first served basis and the child must be present.
Parents will also have the opportunity to nominate their school for additional prizes.
