The more common phrase is: Pay it Forward. But, what about: Paint it Forward?

Homeowners understand how expensive a new coat costs for the inside and outside of a house.

That's why one company decided to give the gift of a fresh start.

"We felt giving it to them would really help them finish what they had started and just make their house a home," said Joe Campbell.

Campbell is one of the owners of Arizona Painting Company.

He says this is the second time they've done this for a family in need and he said, seeing the faces of the homeowners makes all the hard work worth it.

The company teams up with Davis-Monthan Air Force base, asking the team there to find a deserving airman and their family.

Dillon and Jessica Belknap seemed to fit the profile. The young couple said, they started the painting process, but - the cost to finish was something they could not afford.

The Belknaps were thrilled with the results revealed to them after a day away from home.

"It not only looks different, but - you never really fully get rid of the smell of the previous owners until there's like a fresh coat of paint... It feels like it's ours now."

Arizona Painting Company estimates the interior and exterior work they did on the home would have cost the family upwards of $4,000.
