TUCSON, Ariz. — Pima Animal Care Center is holding a special adoption sale for the holiday season!
The "Name Your Own Price" sale is an effort to get more pets into more homes. The special starts today and continues through Jan. 7, 2021.
"Potential adopters can name their own price for the adoption fees of pets four months or older. There is a $20 licensing fee per adopted dog that cannot be waived. Kittens and puppies will cost $50 each," said PACC in a press release.
To meet with a pet, adopters need to make an appointment at the shelter. To make an appointment, click here.
PACC also said that fostering a pet during the holidays can also have a huge impact on a pet.
“Any time away from the shelter is good for a homeless pet,” she said. “In a foster home, a pet can relax. That’s good for their mental well-being and their overall health.”
The shelter does have special hours during the holiday season to keep in mind:
- Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020: Noon to 5:00 p.m.
- Christmas Day, December 25, 2020: CLOSED
- New Year's Eve, December 31, 2020: Noon to 5:00 p.m.
