TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The new Pentagon budget bill includes $100,000,000 dollars that could help keep the A-10s flying for years to come.

The money is to to install new, stronger wings on 100 A-10s.

The upgrades are designed to keep the planes flying for another 12 years, but the program stalled when the Air Force began pushing to retire the plane early.

Congresswoman Martha McSally worked to include the wing upgrades in the budget.
