Tucson is celebrating the return of a native fish: the Topminnow.
Officials say the fish was found alive and well in the Santa Cruz River last November. There were near the stretches where reclaimed water is being pumped in.
Artists are painting a section of The Loop along the river with stencils to honor the fish.
On June 14th, "Exo Bar" on 6th Avenue is holding a toast to the Top Minnow from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Then on June 16th, there will be a 4.7 mile bike ride along The Loop from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. for riders to see the fish artwork.
