TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Muslim community of Tucson opened its doors to those who are curious about the religion.

The Yousuf Mosque hosted a Holy Quran exhibition where visitors learned about Islam and discovered different links between it and other major religions.

Organizers say the focus was on reviving what is known as true Islam.

They say the religions rejects terrorism, believes in equality of women and the need for unified leadership.

Today's event was part of a larger nationwide effort by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association.
