TUCSON, Ariz. - A midtown hotel project is stirring up controversy.
Developers with the Karma del Sol project are asking the city to rezone the area near River and Campbell.
They're looking to build a hotel and restaurant, but some who live nearby say the area is already saturated. They want to maintain the historic integrity of the area.
A public hearing for the issue is set for the Tucson City Council meeting Sept. 4.
