Marana Unified School District schools offer free summer breakfast, lunch

TUCSON, Ariz. - Marana Unified School District schools will be offering free summer breakfast and lunch for those 18 years and younger.

The Marana Unified School District is participating in the Arizona Department of Education and the Arizona Department of Health Services Summer Lunch Buddies campaign aimed at keeping students fed.

MUSD expects to serve more than 18,000 free meals to students.

On Tuesday, May 28 both Quail Run Elementary School, Estes Elementary School and the Marana Care Mobile will begin to offer free meals.

The schools will offer meals Monday through Friday.

Students do not need to be enrolled at any of the following schools in order to get a free meal.

Below are the schools offering free meals, the day they begin offering them and the times they serve breakfast and unch.

Butterfield Elementary School - June 10
Breakfast: 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.

Estes Elementary School - May 28
Breakfast: 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Marana Middle School - July 22
Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Picture Rocks Elementary - June 3
Breakfast: 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.

Quail Run Elementary School - May 28
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.

Roadrunner Elementary School - June 3
Breakfast: 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Marana Cares Mobile - May 28
Stop #1: Sandario Rd./Anthony Rd.
Lunch 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Stop #2: El Tiro Rd./Anway Rd.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
