The town of Marana adopted another app for its residents to begin taking advantage of and it involves ditching the flyers and using smart phones.
Instead of going around the neighborhood posting lost dog flyers, a new app called "Marana Pets" allows people to post if they found a pet or lost a pet.
Along with the post, people can also add a picture of the pet and the last location it was seen. The goal is to add yet another resource for people to have in order to reunite them with their pets.
The app hit the market last week and so far has dozens of accounts and downloads.
