Man shot twice in South Tucson, police searching for suspect

TUCSON, Ariz. — The South Tucson Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred near 6th Avenue and 32nd Street Wednesday.

According to police, an 18-year-old man was shot twice in the abdomen just before 9:00 a.m.

Reports say the shooter fired a total of 17 shots at the victim.

Police believe the two individuals know each other.

After the incident, the suspect left the scene on foot. He is described as 5'8'', thin build, wearing a green hoodie.
