As local, state and federal agencies head to the East coast to help lend a hand to those who will be impacted by Hurricane Florence, one man in Tucson is taking a collection of his own.
Clifford O'Bryan has lived in Tucson since 2011. He tells KGUN9 that he has two sisters living in the path of Hurricane Florence. Mandatory evacuations are underway, which has impacted his family members.
O'Bryan plans to head to the Carolinas on Friday, September 14th and is asking for the community's help with needed supplies.
Non-perishable foods, new toiletries and any tools that could help in the cleanup are welcomed.
Donations can be dropped off at the Tucson Police Department at 1100 S. Alvernon starting at 9 a.m. Thursday. O'Bryan says he also welcomes any monetary donations that could help him with his travels.
