A man is in custody after a police chase Sunday night in Tucson.

Sergeant Dugan with Tucson Police Department says police got multiple reports around 9:30 p.m. of gunshots coming from a white pick-up truck. The reports came from multiple locations and police say the truck was also speeding and driving recklessly.

The first report came from the 3500 block of East Grant Road.

Police say once they located the truck, the man fled. TPD was able to stop the vehicle with spikes. The man is in now custody.

Police say there were no injuries.

South of Alvernon is shut down at Speedway. The road will be closed for another hour.

Sgt. Dugan say they are trying to determine if this is related to a second incident on the east side. A man shot into the wall of an apartment complex around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. This happened at 2310 North Camino Castile. The suspect fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
