FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — A Flagstaff man who stood in the railroad tracks waving at an oncoming train then tried to escape its path was hit and killed.
Police say 24-year-old Allen Shaffer was struck Sunday afternoon near the train station in downtown Flagstaff.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage to learn more about how it happened.
