A man died this morning after he was unable to make it out of a mobile home that was on fire, according to a press release from the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The fire happened in the 1200 block of East Summit Street at 5:45 a.m. this morning. When San Xavier District deputies arrived, they were informed that a family member inside the home was unable to make it out.
44-year-old Alberto SantaCruz Jr. did not make out of the home and was pronounced dead on scene.
PCSD says the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental but is still under investigation.
