A jury has convicted Enrique Guzman-Castro on multiple charges after he sexually abused two of his young relatives when they were eleven and six-years old, according to the Pima County Attorney's Office.
PCAO says on Thursday a jury convicted Guzman-Castro of Aggravated Assault of a minor Under Fifteen, two counts of Molestation of a Child Under Fifteen, two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor Under Fifteen, and four counts of Sexual Conduct of a Minor Under Fifteen.
The victims' mother learned of the abuse while she was questioning the older victim about her failing grades. The mother then reported the sexual conduct to authorities.
A sentencing hearing for Guzman-Castro is scheduled for October 17 at the Pima County Superior Court.
