Sierra Vista police arrested a man Saturday after he pointed a gun at employees in a local bar.
The man arrested at JR's Bar was 21-year-old Stephen Smith.
According to SVPD, Smith pointed a loaded 9mm handgun toward employees through the bar's front doorway. Smith was detained by employees in the patio area until police arrived.
Smith was booked into the Cochise County Jail on the following charges:
- Attempted armed robbery
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
- First-degree burglary, and criminal trespass
He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
